The 3rd Annual Amazing Rally
(Based on the hit Television show the Amazing Race)
In our constant effort to raise funds in a fun, energetic and original way our fundraising team came up with this great idea in 2008 and we hope you will have as much fun supporting it as we have had planning it.
Premise
Up to 120 participants tour our beautiful area and participate in mental, physical (not at a high level), and sometimes silly tasks. There will be approximately 10 to 15 check points set up which the rally racers find by completing the requirements of the previous check point. At that time they receive an envelope with a clue to get to the next check point. The Winner will be decided on a combination of points and time. After the race is complete everyone will be enjoying a fun awards presentation and dinner at Café Ste. Marie.
Details
The race will take place on Sunday May 29, 2011. It commences at 10:30 am in the General Mills parking lot (111 Pillsbury Drive, Midland) and our last raced should come over the finish line around 4:00 pm. New this year: Collect a minimum of $60 in pledges, per player, to participate in the race! The top 3 individuals with the highest amount of pledges win a prize!
