We are always happy to hear from people wishing to help out with our many fundraising initiatives. Here are a few opportunities that may be of interest to you...

Become a Board Member.
We are always seeking dedicated individuals to join our dynamic governing board of directors. If you feel that you (or someone you know) would be an asset to our organizations, please contact us for more information.

Volunteer for Bingo.
For each bingo on our schedule, we require three (3) willing helpers who are bonafied members of Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Simcoe. With the help of our bingo volunteers, we ensure that the proceeds from our bingo events continue to support our work in North Simcoe & Huronia.

Our bingo's are usually held on Friday's from 10:00AM to 3:00PM, 2 - 4 times per month. You must be 18 years of age or older. We cover the cost of cab fares to and from the Angel Gate Bingo Hall in Penetanguishene, if transportation is an issue. We also provide a free lunch for each volunteer.

Volunteer at an Upcoming Fundraising Event.
We host a variety of annual events that serve to raise the funds that enable us to continue our valuable mentoring services; these events include Bowl for Kids Sake, Showcase of Homes Tour, and Local Personality Dinner... We regularly require people to help man a booth, set up and tear a display or take pictures - all while proudly wearing a Big Brother Big Sister Shirt! Call us for more details.

Are you retired? A student? Looking to gain valuable volunteer hours doing meaningful work? Whether it is helping to produce our quarterly newsletter, coordinating events, or general administration, we are always happy to welcome new volunteers! If you have good customer services skills, basic computer knowledge, or just enjoy filing, then we'd love to hear from you!
