The Role of a Caseworker...
The role of the professional Caseworker is to screen, match, and supervise matches, and to act as a liaison and team builder with all parties involved. Where necessary, clients will be referred to other supportive services. Our Caseworkers provide support to your family. Regular contact by phone and in-person occurs throughout the year.
We get to know your child first so we can match them in the program that best meets their needs. This is achieved by completing a child and family assessment with yourself and your children.
The safety and well being of all children is a priority of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Every caregiver, child, and volunteer participates in child safety training.
